Oxion Fluorescence Microscopes
For biological and medical applications, fluorescence microscopes are used to observe certain parts of living cells and tissues with the help of fluorophores. The Oxion microscopes for fluorescence are equipped with epi-illumination and a 100 W mercury vapor lamp. The fluorescence attachment features a rail for a maximum of 4 filter cubes. The FluoLed model is equipped with a 455 nm LED and one filter cube, especially developed for efficient and fast detection of tuberculosis by the Auramine-O fluorochrome.
The Oxion series is dedicated to professionals in Life Sciences applications, laboratories of universities or research centers, but also for routine medical applications and veterinary medicine. Thanks to the high-resolution optics and state-of-the-art components, these microscopes can be widely used from routine to fundamental research applications.

Technical Specifications
- Eyepieces: HWF 10x/22 mm eyepieces. All eyepieces can be secured by an Allen screw.
- Head: Binocular and trinocular Siedentopf type heads with 30° inclined tubes. Interpupillary distance from 50 to 75 mm. Two ± 5 diopter adjustments. Rotating system for ergonomic positioning (431 mm to 397 mm height).
- Nosepiece: Revolving and reversed nosepiece for maximum five objectives. Fluorescence models with mercury vapor lamp equipped with orange UV protection shield.

- Condenser (Brightfield): Height adjustable Abbe N.A. 1.25 with iris diaphragm. Supplied with white diffusion filter. Compatible with phase contrast sliders and darkfield stops.

- Illumination (Brightfield): 3 W adjustable NeoLED illumination with built-in 100-240 V power supply. Köhler illumination with field diaphragm.
