The Delphi-X Inverso™ for materials science is an inverted microscope designed for professionals with demanding applications involving large or heavy materials science samples. It features high-contrast brightfield, darkfield, and polarization observation modes, along with a unique 100 W halogen reflected illumination system.

Technical Specifications
- Eyepieces: Pair of DIN HWF plan 10x/22 mm eyepieces.
- Head: Trinocular 45° inclined tubes with extended interpupillary distance (47–78 mm). Features a built-in Bertrand lens and optical path selector (100-0, 80/20, 0/100).
- Nosepiece: Revolving sextuple nosepiece on ball-bearings with a dedicated DIC slot.
- Objectives: High numerical aperture, infinity corrected (Semi-)Apochromatic Brightfield/Darkfield objectives. Long working distance (LWD), IOS, M26 mount.
- Plan Semi-Apochromatic (PL-SAMi): 5x/0.15 (WD 20 mm), 10x/0.30 (WD 11 mm), 20x/0.45 (WD 3.1 mm).
- Plan Apochromatic (PL-AMi): 50x/0.80 (WD 1 mm).
- Optional: Plan Apochromatic 100x/0.90 (WD 1 mm).
- Stage: Large stage (340 x 230 mm) equipped with a coaxial mechanical X-Y stage (130 x 85 mm travel). Includes metal inserts with Ø 20 mm, Ø 28 mm, and drop-shaped holes. Supports samples up to 30 kg.
- Magnification Changer: Built-in 1.5x lens allows for intermediary magnifications (e.g., converting 20x to 30x) without changing objectives.
- Multifunctional Wheel: 6-position wheel containing cubes for brightfield (2), darkfield (1), and polarization (1). Includes sliders for prisms and analyzer.
- Focusing Adjustment: Low-positioned coaxial coarse and fine adjustments with 1 μm precision and friction control.
- Camera Ports: Three photo ports total: one standard head port and two additional side ports (left and right).
- Illumination: Reflected 100 W halogen illumination with adjustable intensity. Internal 100-240 V power supply.
